In general, it is a good book but lacks the level of depth that other books offer. There are some deficiencies and some important typos, especially in the formulas, which leave you wondering if the formula is correct or not. I didn't like that the author will, at times, just flash formulas at you but give very little explanation as to how to implement them or where they come from; I don't even know if all of them are correct. It gives me the impression that, sometimes, he just cited formulas without even making sure they are correct, complete, or if he even tried them in order to provide a proper implementation explanation.I do recommend the book, but there are better books than this one. The advantage of this book is that is somehow condensed and simplified, so you don't have to go through pages and pages of text and derivations to get to the meat of the issue. That is both an advantage and a disadvantage, because, if you want to know more, you will have to look some place else.
